If/when I get stopped, this would be the optimal outcome! Make sure to thank your guardian angel! :)
some people make their own luck :)

Remind me not to ride with Tackle. Four times in 2 months?

Cathleen
being pulled over 4 times is less work and cheaper than going to a dmv and a town hall and paying them money. :) .... and it has more entertainment value.

Oh no, you're scaring me. Those state bureaucrats might hand me goddamned pieces of paper! Or they might lock me up in a cage. Or shoot me! I'm so scared. I guess I'll just have to bow and kiss their feet and hope they forgive me for thinking I could be anything other than their slave.

That entertainment cost me $280 bucks 22 years ago.
They let me go last time and didn't take any money from me.

Yup lose all your sense when you get here. ::)
Hopefully we are attracting people who want, and are willing to, live free from the government.

I'd love to know what you said to them that convinced them to let you go and not take any money from you.

Check the price of SR22 insurance when you make it to habitual offender land.  There is more than one way to spend some lengthy time in a NH jail cell.  12 points is the max you can get against your license.  Driving without a license is a fine that probably would be determined by a judge which would mean a court date.   But then who cares....
How can you get points on your license if you don't have one? ;)

nothing at the sentencing
almost nothing at the trial
almost nothing to the sentencing lady

They got the impression that I wouldn't pay.

We shall see how the feds react to dada if he keeps telling them that he doesn't want to pay.

Driving without a license in your possession will eventually land someone before a judge.  As someone posted some time ago, those battles will eventually wear anyone down or out or they will just fade away.  It is just dumb.
I totally disagree.
Maybe the government will wear down and it will fade away.

Remember, the thing government desires most is to appear legitimate in the eyes of most people.

If they find themselves in a situation where, if they proceed against you, they will lose that appearance of legitimacy, they will back off.

The trick is to ensure that in every interaction with government, they risk losing their appearance of legitimacy by using their force against you.

Give me the beat boys to free my soul....

Gonna get lost in my rock 'n' roll

and drift away....

Who sang that tune?  Ron knows.

I sang it, but I don't think I was the first.

You say tom-ay-to, I say tom-ah-to.

I finally decided it was "just dumb" to continue empowering the state licensing goons, albeit after 29 years! Almost four years now, and I've never felt better!

(why am I compelled to post this publicly?)

:-*

Anyway, my license is issued by much higher authorities than mere jabbuts, and true freedom is all about not living in perpetual fear.

But he doesn't want to show off, because he's just humble as pie.
