Does anyone know of any music related jobs that there may be in New Hampshire.  I'm not looking for anything specific.  I'm not sure exactly what I would want to do, but my life tends to revolve around music so maybe if somebody has any ideas for me it could give me something o shoot for.  Thanks.

I think to have a job in music you would need to create your own. You could work at http://www.daddys.com/ where you could meet other music people.

START A BAND!

BTW, I assume by your moniker that you're a fan of Daniel Quinn?  Good books, those are...

Yes, your best bet is to check out the music stores and music schools here and see what happens from that.

B

I'm in two bands, actually.  I'm pretty sure only one of them is going to join me in New Hampshire, though.

Also, yes, Daniel Quinn is pretty awesome.  Do you think that the free state project could be the answer he's looking for in the Ishmael series?  Some of his thoughts may be construed as slightly socialist, but I don't think that's his intent.

I've thought the exact same thing.  I guess time will tell!

B

Well, it's good to hear that I'm not just trying to convince myself that he's not a dirty socialist, because I enjoyed his books so much.

Quantrill

Exactly, I'll have to re-read those books again. (Ishmael, My Ishmael, Story of B.  have you read anything else by him?  I can't remember the name of the other book by him I read :( )  I don't really think that Tribalism is the same as Socialism and there's room for Capitalism in there.

Getting back to music, what instrument(s) do you play?  I've been writing stuff like crazy and will  at the very least need a drummer when it comes time to record.  I don't know if I'll try to get a live band together or not...

B

I'm mainly a singer, but I recently started a side project that I play guitar for.  I couldn't drum my way out of wet paper bag...  What kind of music do you do?
