I'm all for fair trade coffee. Doesn't matter that it's a marketing gimmick - everybody involved is happier after the trade than before, which is a good thing.

I'm a big fan of fresh roast, so let me see if I can get this timing down...
If I order this weekend, I'd get the coffee Thursday-ish?
So, I should pick up enough of the Sunday roast at Whole Foods for the first half of the week.

How's this blend for a person with a penchant for dark, dark roast?

And, how's about setting up a regular order, should your coffee be addictive?
I'm lazy, and like to automate things.

It is dark if you brew 1.25 to 1.5 oz per pot. Any more is over kill. I may start bagging little brew bags. For now I'm lo tech. No automation for now. I will mail based on the honor system. Pay whenever, or perhaps not at all. I do barter as well. Can't wait to get to NH so I can barter for salsa. I love salsa.

Andrew I'll call you tomorrow about your questions.

Age doesn't matter here---people git bitten in da azzez frequently here.  One time Ma got stopped for having her coffee bags surrounding her powdered milk bags at customs.  Needless to say it didn't go over well.  (Its a Costa Rican tico ting to bring back powdered milk as well),

Powdered milk, eh?   :D

The coffee arrived in the mail the other day. I have a PO Box and was bowled over with lovely fragrant coffee aroma when I opened the box door. Every day coming home I am greeted with the wafting aroma from the beans when I come in to my apartment.

Then I brew some up! It's great stuff. I should have bought a pound rather than a half-pound. My next purchase will be a press pot so that I can brew it up properly.

By the way, he spent $4.05 for Priority Mail, so more than half the price is eaten up in shipping costs.

Thumbs up!  :icon_thumright:

Oh, I'm sure he just gave you free shipping to get you hooked. ;)

Could be--I can't imagine that there's much profit in it

You figured me out. I'm a coffee pusher.  ;D

Shipping will be the same now and always.

coffee7 has no major ad campaign .... no bureaucracy ... and word of mouth sales force.

hence low prices for good coffee :)

If only we could get the USPS monopoly out of the picture so that shipping prices could come down
