Thanks for the Lazyboy song Friday. I did not know about them. I've sent the song to several of my friends and they really liked it. Youtube has a bunch of their other videos that are really very good.

I started watching my Twin Peaks boxset last night and haven't been able to get the song out of my head since.  If my consumption of doughnuts and pie skyrockets in the coming weeks, you'll understand why (unless I'm the only Twin Peaks fan here?)   :piecon:
Apparently I am the only Twin Peaks fan here.   :P  Well, I would just like to say that this series has the most depressing. ending. ever.  David Lynch is a severely f'ed up individual.   :coffee: :piecon:  >:D  :glasses7: :fryingpan: :BangHead:

this one goes out to all the good 'Merican consumers who got up in the middle of the night to start their Christmas shopping, created a stampede at WalMart injuring a pregnant woman and inducing a deadly heart attack in a 34-year-old employee.  The baby Jesus thanks you for the well-wishes.   :(

God money Ill do anything for you.
God money just tell me what you want me to.
God money nail me up against the wall.
God money dont want everything he wants it all.

No you cant take it
No you cant take it
No you cant take that away from me
No you cant take it
No you cant take it
No you cant take that away from me

Head like a hole.
Black as your soul.
Id rather die than give you control.
Head like a hole.
Black as your soul.
Id rather die than give you control.

Bow down before the one you serve.
Youre going to get what you deserve.
Bow down before the one you serve.
Youre going to get what you deserve.

God moneys not looking for the cure.
God moneys not concerned with the sick among the pure.
God money lets go dancing on the backs of the bruised.
God moneys not one to choose
No you cant take it
No you cant take it
No you cant take that away from me
No you cant take it
No you cant take it
No you cant take that away from me

Head like a hole.
Black as your soul.
Id rather die than give you control.
Head like a hole.
Black as your soul.
Id rather die than give you control.

Bow down before the one you serve.
Youre going to get what you deserve.
Bow down before the one you serve.
Youre going to get what you deserve.

Bow down before the one you serve.
Youre going to get what you deserve.
Bow down before the one you serve.
Youre going to get what you deserve.

You know who you are.

Just before Christmas around 1957 our parents surprised us with a Mono Record Player. It was, pretty much, Christmas carols and Show Tunes until my sister and I found the Record Department at Korvettes and the 45RPM adapter. My sister liked Johnny Mathas and I think the first time I heard 'Stranger In Paradise', he was singing it.
A couple of years ago, on the radio, I caught the end of a rendition of 'Stranger In Paradise' by Sarah Brightman. I didn't know who she was at the time and had never heard her sing anything. Between her voice and the way she sings each line I find the song almost irie.
