It's always bugged me when people don't label their tunes.  But I just realized I'm a moderator now; *I* can label them.  Maybe I'll make that my snowed-in project.   :icon_pirat:

Gee maybe we can pass a label your tunes
law.  :o

Someone once said Music is the soundtrack of your life

Favorites: Brad Delp and Beatlejuice doing the Beatles Golden Slumbers
Boston's "Man I'll Bever Be"
Brad Delp/Barry Goudreau  " What You Leave Behind"
Almost anything by Susan Tedeschi

Beth Neilsen Chapman "Years"

David Ball "Riding With Private Malone"

Tim McGraw " Live Like You Were Dying"  and " My Old Friend"

Warren Zevon  "Lawyers Guns and Money" ( my theme song)

Harry Chapin " Mr Tanner", anything from " Dance Band on the Titanic" album too

Jim Croce lots of his obscure stuff, but "Careful Man" hits home...

But if you used to want to see a commotion
You shoulda seen the man that I used to be
I was trouble in perpetual motion
Trouble with a capital "T"
Stayin' out late, havin' fun
And shot off every single shot in my gun
Yeah I used to be a terror but
Now I am a tired man
Yeah I used to be a terror but
Now I am a tired man

I remember songs from different times in my life, the times I can remember, Different girlfriends are remembered by songs that were on the radio when we were dating, when my son was dying I remember the song that seemed to be on the radio every time I went to the hospital.  When I used to hang out at an Irish bar in Boston, I played the Wolf Tones " Streets of New York" reminded me of my Dad.

Rainbow Connection  sung by Kermit the Frog in the opening scene of the Muppet Movie

Having children myself, I was very touched by you sharing this, and though I don't know the circumstances or timing, want to say I'm sorry; I can't imagine a more difficult thing to go though as a parent.

You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch - lyrics by Dr. Seuss, performed by Boris Karloff

[although, as an Italian-American, I must protest the use of the epithet "garlic in your soul" as a negative  :garlic: ]

I agree... 'Do you have garlic in your soul?' was not a question on the 'How evil are you?' thread... mmmm garlic women.

Garlic much like Bacon is life sustaining.

I love garlic.  My mom claims she used to follow the smell of garlic to find my house.
