I downloaded What a Wonderful World for my neighbor but that song drives me crazy, just can't listen to it for some reason. Probably because I thing the world sucks, I don't know.  I need to look on the brighter side of things more. :-\

Lloyd Danforth

I have a stuffed frog that sings 'Its a wonderful world' .  The thing even shudders on the high notes.  Sometimes I expect it to whip out a handkerchief and wipe it's face.

Hi Lloyd!  That's funny! :)  Rick has that fish that sings, I think it's a Creedence song I can't remember but it's only funny when I'm intoxicated.  ::)

LMFAO, I just had a vision of that, Lloyd!!

Have any of you people herd Frank Zappas "Joes Garage"?  It is a multy CD set that discusses, in satire, our nation how it is turning out now.  It is Frank Zappa, the Central Scrutiniser, who narrates through the whole set of recordings.  He is there to "enforce all the Laws that HAVN'T been passed yet!  Quite funny and the music is first rete but the words are silly. :D

Ah yes!!!!  Good one.  Wasn't that when Steve Vai was playing for him too?  (Just before Steve left to replace Malmstein in Alcatraz if memory serves me right)

Frank Zappa wrote some classic stuff.  Anyone who can sing about Huskies pissing in the snow and Pancakes being the cure for such snow in ones eye is something amazing if you ask me.

I guess opera produces my highest RPMs.  Sempre Libera from La Traviata by Verdi is #1.
But here is a contemporary piece with a unique voice and complex rhythms I enjoy:

I have no idea how to get the imbed-a-ma-jig to work.

Here you go Puke... I hadn't tried that feature yet either. You just take the youtube number which is after the = sign and put it between the youtube do hicky which is the button that has a question mark. If you look at the quote from this message you can see the code.

Yeah that's a great song... I really liked Shannon Hoon... a tortured soul and great artist, sorry he's gone.

I really like

Soulshine
by Gov't Mule

When you can't find the light
That guides you through a cloudy day
When the stars ain't shinin' bright
And you fill like you've lost you're way
When the candle lights of home
Burn so very far away
Well you got to let your soul shine
Just like my daddy used to say

He used to say soul shine
It's better than sunshine
It's better than moonshine
Damn sure better than rain
Hey now people don't mind
We all get this way sometimes
Got to let your soul shine
Shine till the break of day

I grew up thinkin' that I had it made
Gonna make it on my own
But life can take the strongest man
And make him feel so alone
Now and then I feel a cold wind
Blowin' through my achin' bones
I think back to what my daddy said
He said A"Boy, in the darkness before the dawnA"

Let your soul shine
It's better than sunshine
It's better than moonshne
Damn sure better than rain
Yeah now people don't mind
We all get this way sometimes
Got to let your soul shine
Shine till the break of day

Sometimes a man can feel this emptiness
Like a woman has robbed him of his very soul
A woman too, God knows, she can feel like this
And when your world seems cold
You got to let your spirit take control

Let your soul shine
It's better than sunshine
It's better than moonshne
Damn sure better than rain
Lord now people don't mind
We all get this way sometimes
Got to let your soul shine
Shine till the break of day

Oh, it's better than sunshine
It's better than moonshne
Damn sure better than rain
Yeah now people don't mind
We all get this way sometimes
Got to let your soul shine
Shine till the break of day
