Violent Femmes - Add It Up

Friday

I started watching my Twin Peaks boxset last night and haven't been able to get the song out of my head since.  If my consumption of doughnuts and pie skyrockets in the coming weeks, you'll understand why (unless I'm the only Twin Peaks fan here?)   :piecon:

Looks like there's a Twin Lakes Village not far from Grafton!  Maybe I'll check it out.

Guns N' Roses - Mr. Brownstone

LOL this song is brought up a lot at work.  A brown stone is vernacular for a type of sharpening stone which we use to knock down tiny high spots and make sure a surface is flat.

On the way home from work today, I heard a new song start on the radio.  I was trying to figure out if I knew what band it was.  And then... then... I heard Axl start to sing!!!  Chinese Democracy is not just a myth; it's being released Nov. 23!

I ate pulled pork and watched Brian Wilson sing on the beach in Honolulu.  Every now and then, life is good.  :hippy2:

Did you like his new song?  I think he sounds way different and I watched his recent youtube videos, he doesn't even dance around anymore. :-\

His sex appeal is flushed for me anyway so I just watch his old stuff when he had "it"!  :D

Yeah, the new song is OK.  I've only heard it twice so far and haven't formed a strong opinion one way or the other.  No, I didn't realize there were recent YouTube videos available.  I'll have to check those out, if I dare.  The thought of a 40-something, heavily psychoanalyzed and medicated Axl is deeply disturbing somehow.   :-\
