It is WICKED windy out there!

I think wind freaks me out more than any other weather phenomenon... granted, hail is pretty creepy, too... and fog ain't none too fun to drive in... but WIND... hail and fog don't make the whole apartment building SHAKE.

While this won't help if the insomnia is due to the building physically shaking, it may be worthwhile to try out a set of cheap foam earplugs. They're marvelous for reducing/eliminating all those noise nuisances (wind, car stereos, airplane engines, children, alarm clocks) so one can get some good sleep, although it usually takes a day or two to get used to the pseudo-silence while using them.

If not, you're only out a buck.

After living through Super Typhoon Pamela (Guam 1976) with winds up to 220 + MPH........ 33 mph is nothing.   ;D
