I talked to the police prosecutor just now.  He's going to try to confirm with Russell that he wants to change his plea.  So they may bring him to court tomorrow morning and let him go on time served (time in lieu of fines).

I sent him an email and he called me back.  He said he'd let me know if something was happening tomorrow, but I haven't heard from him since the phone call.

They told me Russell's going to be in court today,
