woo hoo!

I assume it would be good for people to call the prosecutor and thank him for helping to make this happen?

I made a couple calls yesterday before learning of all this...one to the judge and one to Lt. maxwell...  got maxwell's voice mail and left polite complaint message, also left the judge a one sentence message which his clerk copied for me:

"I object to your detention of Russell Kanning"
...along with my contact info

That's great news! I'm sure he'll have some stories for us soon.

I woke up to the sound of his voice. It was weird. :)

Thanking the prosecutor would be OK.

Party tonight 7:00 at Athens.

The bailiff acted funny when we were there this morning.  I had sat in the back of the room and he came back there to say to me that if I couldn't hear well enough, there were seats in front.  Not sure how he knew who I was.  He also let it slip in front of Russell that he wasn't supposed to be there today.  It's like he just came in to see what happened to Russell.

Prosecutor, jail, etc. seemed eager to be rid of Russell.  They ignored or dropped the failure to process and not showing up for court charges.

Sounds like we have both a victory, and a family of exhausted victors on our hands.

Plus maybe some decent-human-being bureaucrats.

How is it a victory?

They broke russel, he was going to plead guilty.

How many days did he spend in jail?

Dave Ridley

hmm...well, gandhi always pleaded guilty

Well, I'll be there in spirit for now. Wish I could be there in body.

It's like the police were waiting outside our park for Russell to come out.
They were waiting for me. They knew about the Keene Free Press meeting.

Spy on THIS, you bastards!

Has the state "broken" you? I see you have a NH license plate as your avatar. Do you also have a drivers license?

I am sure that he has his reasons for what he did and I highly doubt that he is "broken."

How many days did you spend in jail, for the same reason Russell has?
