I would like to find a pistol or revolver in the $500 or less range.
No real preference. Partial to .40 S&W size cartridge though.

If you know of a good store near Keene, I would also appreciate that information.

buzz bowers' sportsman's den is pretty cool.  it's in troy.   i like the guy and have bought a couple times but haven't really checked closely to see if his prices are acceptable.

I'm not sure where in NH this guy is, but you could do a face-to-face transaction...

Glock 23 w/ 2 mags ($480).  Looks like he has all kinds of other goodies (lots o' mags, streamlight, etc) for sale too.

Good luck.  FYI - I bought my G27 used for $400 @ Riley's and paid $80 for night sights @ Manch Firing Line.

I'll probably check out the place in Troy. Hooksett is a bit far away for shopping from Keene.
But thanks for the info. Buzz Bower's didn't show up in any of my online searches.

There is a gunshop on rt 10 south of Keene, on the right.  I don't know much about it, except, I think they refused to Carry the KFP, but, that doesn't make them evil.  If you contact Dawn on this forum, her husband, Bill might know about shops near Keene.

I stopped in that gunshop last year and the guy seemed a little "standoffish" but he did seem to have some good prices.  Personally, I wouldn't buy anything from him if he was against the KFP...

As far as I'm concerned, this state is small enough that most people can get to Riley's in Hooksett if they really want to support a pro-liberty and pro-FSP person and business!

Is KFP the Keene Free Press?
If Riley's is really a good place, and his store looks good on the website, then I might have to make a day of it.
How long is the wait to purchase a hand-gun? I'd rather not have to make two trips.

KFP=Keene Free Press

There is no wait except for the time it takes for the instacheck...

Let me know when you're going and I might be able to go with you just to hang out there for awhile...

Hey, it's the least we can do for such a great and helpful person and business!

Maybe come out for the May 5th MVP meeting... then a group can go after the meeting.

Better yet, collect some more pro liberty shops.

That's a very good idea!
I'll start a new thread for this!
And I'll try to have Ken Gage there also!

But do remember that some of us are going to Murphy's to hold our own "alternate MVP meeting"...lol.
