Want free diesel fuel?

My restaurant will generate about 50 gallons of used vegetable oil per month.  I can either pay a small fee to a local company to take it away for me, or if anyone has a converted diesel engine for their car or their generator, they are welcome to pick it up.

My understanding is that this used oil will actually run a diesel engine as-is, but without certain modifications the engine will be damaged gradually.  You can also burn it for heat in certain oil burners.  If you're interested in taking this oil off my hands on a regular basis, please call me at 203-1106.

Thanks!

I sure wish I lived near you.  I have been looking at an 88 Ford f350 with a diesel engine to add an extra tank to just to use used vegi oil....

For anyone interested in doing this, I have run a car with veg-oil before. I do not currently have plans to run a diesel vehicle but I can assist with a way to use the veg-oil as fuel in a two-tank system.

I had a 1985 Mercedes wagon that I converted to run veg-oil with a system from Greasecar.com. I put 8000 miles on the car without a problem. I lost the car in an accident - unrelated to the veg fuel system.
