Manchester does have one particular park across from the library that would be a perfect location -- lots of foot traffic, especially during the farmers market -- and a big half circle of granite risers for your audience...

For some reason the seacoast just doesn't feel like New Hampshire to me. It is really not that far away and there are some nice things to see and people, but I always feel like I'm leaving New Hampshire.
