Hello all, I'm hoping to move this summer (and of July beginning of August)  I would like to start an improv/ Theater of the Oppressed group that would also take part in activism events doing living political cartoons.  I am having a bit of trouble picking a location.  I'm liking Manchester or Portsmouth but want to know more about the areas and how active the FSP groups are in the area.  I am really excited to be headed that way i just need some help finding my north.

thoughts?

error

Maybe you want to move to Keene. :)

Dreepa

My advice would be to move central (Manchester)  check out all the areas and then move there.

The improve group is a great idea!! I would think you'd have the most high profile chances to perform in Concord in front of Capitol Building  ;) We'd love to have you in the Concord/Manchester area and there always seems to be a lot going on...

If it's not active, the O-list should be notified that the data on the website is stale..... if anyone here was on the O-list....

portsmouth has a huge theater scene. only problem is it's full of john kerry's biggest fans.

That's why PORCs should consider moving there...

Jared

hell yeah. p-town gets a bad rap from porcs for some reason. despite all the kerry-ites, i love the town. great place!

Quantrill

I'd probably like P-town but my job is in Manch and my boss is cool as hell...

For some reason the seacoast just doesn't feel like New Hampshire to me. It is really not that far away and there are some nice things to see and people, but I always feel like I'm leaving New Hampshire.

interesting. there really is a huge difference between southern and northern nh. completely different worlds.

yeah, i like Portsmouth and the theatre groups they have there.  I guess i just wonder if i would be able to pull in an improv audience.  I feel that that would be eisier in a place like Manchester
