I hope so.
I'd love to get a load of the look on his face when that gun-grabbing socialist sees how many people are open carrying  >:D

Dear gods that would be great!  I'm going to sling a rifle just for the heck of it, in addition to my usual loadout :)

I'll sling my riot pump gun!

Michael Moore owns a shotgun himself. I even hear tell that he was at one time a card carrying NRA member.

IIRC, target shooting while an early teenager, at most. Probably has a "Not a long-distance holepuncher, not 'needed' by me, therefore nobody 'needs' them" mentality.

Not even that. He joined the NRA in order to proclaim he was a member. He had visions of voting and running for the board of directors, then he found out that you have to be a member for five continuous years before even being allowed to vote, much less run for office.

The NRA gladly took his money and used it wisely.  ;D

And he got his gun as part of a publicity stunt. You can't trust this guy.

Remember, he's not a politician, or one of their enforcers.  He is a cheerleader for gov't force, not much different than the cheerleaders we are surrounded by on a daily basis.

I don't hear our side calling for massive violent attacks upon civilians.  He does.

I'm going to see if I can get Bernard to sign a silver cert for me. It could be a very valuable collector's item in the future!

Back in 2003, Moore came to Manchester with the 'Jim Hightower Rolling Thunder Down Home Democracy Tour.'  They held it in the park across Elm St. from where the late summer gun show was going on.  I wandered across the street and mentioned to some of the organizers that there was a gun show right over there, and encouraged them to let Moore know so that he could address this "important issue."  Instead, he talked about almost anything but guns.  I got the impression that he's a gutless punk is afraid to face real people who can answer back.

Yeah, that was at Veterans' Park on Elm Street. Michael Moore was filling in for Jim Hightower, who was supposed to be the speaker, but had a tragic death in the family just a couple of days before. The organizers were aware of the gun show and thought it interesting. I'm not sure Michael Moore had a prepared speech, but guns weren't on the agenda, since the invasion of Iraq based on a pack of lies was the hot issue of the day then, so he covered that well.

What was very interesting was his talk was something 90% of libertarians would agree with 95% of. Conservatives would not have been as happy, of course. (I wonder if the text of the speech is available somewhere) It was a good example of our having a lot of common ground with progressives, where we part ways with conservatives. The World's Smallest Political Quiz was administered there, and it was interesting that the progressives scored "higher (more pro-freedom)" than the conservatives it was administered to at the New Hampshire Center for Constitutional Studies con just a week before. Something for libertarians who want to be effective to continue to ponder.
