Unread posts

Since the SMF upgrade, the unread posts link usually doesn't generate anything, and then the all unread messages is blank as well. I can work through all the boards and the "new" button gets me to what I haven't read. These are my usual tools in managing the volume of posts, especially when I have been gone for a few days.

Not a big deal, but thought either I'm doing something wrong or something didn't make it through the upgrade. Anyone else having this problem?

Aye, I'm having this problem as well.  It only catches what has been posted since the beginning of my session, which is usually not very much.

Works fine for me. I always come in directly at this URL:

http://newhampshireunderground.com/forum/index.php?action=unread

I stay logged in "forever".

I just look at the icons and open each interestings board section with new posts in different tabs and the different threads of new posts in different tabs.

Otherwise, you will frequently miss stuff, like KBCraig does.

What do you think I've missed?

I see all unread posts listed. If it's been more than a couple of hours, I see 2-3 pages of unread stuff; I open each of those pages in a new tab, then start opening the threads of interest in their own tabs. I read, close the tab, and keep reading.

Could you try deleting your cookies from soulawakenings.com and newhampshireunderground.com?

I had the same problem the first 2 days after the move.. and now it works.... the only think I can think of is that this computer (linux Fedora) was rebooted.

I changed some settings on the forum.  Let me know if you still have problems.
