Deranged Marines going to Iraq

My friend and I were watching a documentary on Iraq (why we fight), when one of his friends comes in and decides to watch also. I didnt know but he was in Iraq already, and one of his friends died over their. Well he commented everytime someone in the movie was talking. There was one point where Someone from NYC whoes son died and he was of Italian decent, and he made comments like "Meatball" and stuff like that. There were parts where Iraqi civilians came on, and he would say stuff like "i would shoot them all in the face", and stuff like "I would #&%@ their eyes out", this guy was obviously seriously deranged and very racist, but the kicker here is... hes going back to Iraq,..... with a security element.
He even said "everyone who protests the war deserves to die"
Their is alot of Marines like this, It really saddens me, I hear them all the time, and also its not even frowned upon. There were even cases of Generals saying the same stuff.

There is an old saying "We become what we hate" and I think this has been taken to an extreme.

Sure those men who slap women around are terrible, but hatred for this kind of thing has turned them in to something worse!

The way to get young men to kill without remorse is to turn the "enemy" into sub-humans. The problem is that this mentality corrodes people to the point of thinking everyone in the invaded land is sub-human. That leads to running down children and laughing about it, like happened in Vietnam.

Most men are able to overcome the indoctrination and my experience with the young men I served with is most are good hearted. But, ignorance combined with fear can make for some twisted individuals.

As a society we will be dealing with the twisted mental wreckage from this war, just as we did in all the ones before. What do you do with the morally damaged men our governments policies help create?

Some soldiers are like this. They are attracted to the violence.
It also makes it easier to kill people if you can demonize them.
This is why the gov't doesn't need o be starting wars or getting involved in other countries' wars.

There are also soldiers that get seriously turned off at all the violence of war.
They are the ones that get out of the military.

The very nature of "cops", "deputies", and "LEOs" is aggression, force, and fraud...or the threat thereof...

This put's them in direct opposition to the Non-Aggression Principle and the Golden Rule...

I really don't know how else to say it...
