The town of Sunapee has decided to pursue legislation that will allow it to succeed from Sullivan County.

Town Manager Donna Nashawaty said the town Board of Selectmen and attorney met privately Monday night to discuss Sunapee's options in handling what it calls an excessive and disproportionate tax burden.
