I'm planning to move very soon; probably within a month or two. It makes it easier if I just rent a room for now- don't have to buy a lot of furniture and what not. Leaning toward Keene because I like the people and the style of activism but Nashua is appealing for other reasons, particularly if I just want a job in software development. I'm still trying to decide whether to continue working in software or try something else like starting a business. Ideally it would be nice if I could mix the two. I'll try to stay updated on this thread.

You could move between the two... Peterborough or something.... best of both worlds.... and you would make Denis happy by moving to a socialist area. (Although P'boro is a nice town)

Thanks Dreepa, I appreciate the feeback, I will have put this on our agenda of places to look at as well.

We also have to consider school districts, so whereever we shall find ourselves, will without a doubt need to provide superior institutions in that state.

We will aslo have to look at where the majority of the states pedophiles and sex offenders are, who has the lowest crime rate etc..., first and foremost our daughters safety comes first.

Not a bad idea to check out crime rates and schools, but it's none of your business where specific people are.

Your daughter, I trust, is well trained in the use of firearms, as appropriate to her age?

Dreepa

Crime rate in NH.... low.

What kind of crimes are you talking about?  Basically the bigger the city or town the more 'crime'.  Probably depends on where you are coming from.  My town of 5500 has some 'crime' I am sure but I have seen nothing around.

Windows server? That's some kind of oxymoron, like military intelligence, right?

Is Windows the best server operating system I will admit it no it is not, but on the upside since Windows does break it creates work for people like me. Also a lot of smaller businesses will have windows because of the amount of people who know M$ products which means more competition in the marketplace which means lower prices for the services.

P.S. I like to fix broken Windows ;D

In a sense you are correct about it being none of my business where people are.

However, that argument does not concern me as all people who commit crimes against woman and children in my opinion should fall under no law, have no rights, and should be publicly stoned and humiliated.

Then we wouldn't have to be concerned with where they are would we :)

I also believe that it is necessary to stand on both sides of the fence, not one side, it narrows your views and further allows you to be controlled by them.

Both sides offer good solutions to problems, some take it to far, as it fullfills hidden agendas, others have no choice as the majority wins.

In fact regarding the Browns, they should be demanding a new trial, a change of venue, and the right to provide any evidence they see fit as a means to defend themselves.

If you dint have the right to create a defense which is meant to create reasonable doubt, then it is clear we have a dictatorship where we are at the will of those who we empower.

We say they are sick, we say its their fault.  I say its our fault and we are sick for allowing it.

But these issues need to be flooded to the masses, if the people of this nation become well organized then those voices must be heard.

This is where you instill fear in them.  You cant instill fear in those who do the dirty work of the local and federal government, they know what they got into and the risk involved when they signed up.

They want to kill, and legally, thats why they are there.

Most officers in our system have shown they are subject to childhood psychological issues and use them as a preface to do their bidding.

And we allow those we vote for to keep them on payroll....

I prefer to do as little work as possible while still getting paid. This is why I don't do Windows. :)

Home Depot in Merrimack uses an Avaya phone system.

Nortel is located in Billerica, Mass, an easy commute from southern NH.  There's quite a few other tech firms along the 128 corridor in Mass, and some decent firms here in Merrimack such as Fidelity, BAE, Kollsman, and Budweiser.

I was lucky enough to be able to take my job with me from California, but I gather the IT market here isn't bad.

My daughter is only 3, so no, but her mother will noteably take care of that, as I would fall under weapons of disablity.  No firearms for me, however there are others ways to defend your property, persons, religion and liberty's.

In ohio it has really gone to pot.

IT jobs here are in the most part, restricted to Cincinatti and Columbus.  With the surrounding cities and counties needing most notably only programmers.

Nonya . . . you're a Buckeye?  I'm from Ohio originally . . .the Cincinnati area.  I've only been in NH for about 2 years but love it so far.  You're right though . . . not much IT business there.

My family and I will take any help we can get in making our transition there.

Thanks
