QuoteChildren Ages 0-5 Who Are Read To Every Day, Percentage by state
#1       Vermont:      67.6%
#2      Maine:    63.9%
#3      New Hampshire:    60.7%
#46       New Mexico:      42.9%

This is a dumb statistic. It's akin to "People who brush their teeth every day" "Percentage of plants that get watered everyday" "Number of toes stepped on everyday."

Who cares?

The elitists -- so they can scream how kids are missing out and they need more money for education if they don't score well.

Well, just so everyone knows, I support state subsidized tooth brushing! ;)

Ok...we need to form a committee and do research on brushing techniques, toothbrush technology (ever seen a Radius?), and start talking to the lobbyists for Colgate and Crest to see what kind of funding we can get. This is it folks! Think of the children!

Women (Per 1,000) Who Had a Birth in the Past 12 Months
#1       Utah:      85
#51       New Hampshire:      41

How does NH end up at #51?  I'd have to assume they are including US territories in this.  Is this true for all the stat?

Because we have so many abortionists here?

No.  Because in NH they found out what causes babies ;D

Subarus and Volvos must be a form of birth control

BTW...without babies being born to liberty loving families, liberty will be but a passing dream a generation or two down the road.

And it will be devastating economically.

Fluff and Stuff

The Shaker tradition continues in NH!  One of the great things about NH is that the average family is upper middle class and they hardly have any kids.  It is so interesting to see a low population state with a low birth rate.  Some low population states, like most in the West, don't even have an abortion clinic (or only have one).  We need to import a bunch of libertarian mormons.

About crime rates.  Those of us that researched the 10 states up for the FSP vote learned real quick that ME, NH, and VT (northern NE) and ND have the lowest crime in the nation.
