I'm expecting parking to suck.

It's not bad if you follow the guidelines:

* expect a nice walk from your parking spot to the festival
* it will be pricey, and honestly probably is not worth shopping around for bargains -- just take the first "all day parking" open lot you see in the general area
* downtown Boston is full of tiny one-ways. Just don't go in those places with a car if you can avoid it.
* all maps of Boston are inherently out-of-date. Including Google.

The T sucks, but is better than parking in Boston (what a ringing endorsement). The Park Street stop is located directly on the Boston Common, and there are parking garages at several stations. Alewife is the north end, closest to New Hampshire.

And Alewife has a nice big parking garage where you can stick your car and hope it doesn't get stolen.

There is a parking garage under the common.  If you get there early you may find a spot there.  There's also a garage under government center you may have luck with.

It always creeps me out when i go to Boston Logan airport, there's a big green sign in the tunnel that says, "Government Center"

Back on topic tho, I'm definitely planning to head down there. I'd like to carpool. I'm expecting parking to suck. My roommate, Supperman is also interested in going. As long as I'm able to replace my headlight and fix a punctured tire before then, I could drive. Not sure I'll manage that though as I'm trying to bust out a website AND a cartoon before Saturday.
