Sobering, indeed. I was impressed with that rant from Boston Legal back in the day when it was broadcast; adding in the extra footage really spiced it up  :)

I sent this to a friend. I mentioned the other night that there are between 2 and 3 million tax protestors, people choosing not to pay taxes in protest of some form, many due to the war and torture, etc. I also pointed out how hugely impractical or even impossible it would be to imprison that many people and, with a very serious tone to his voice, he said "Then they should be executed." I can't describe the chill that went up my spine. This was a guy I would have thought to be one of the most peaceful and loving people I have ever met. His reasoning was basically "I have to pay my taxes. Why should they not have to?"

Their conditioning of our thoughts has been very successful.

That video comes from puppetgov.com  and is produced by a ron paul supporter.  I have noticed these things for some time now.  Thanks Ethan for bringing this to our attention, and is a good reminder.  For all the folks who have Ethan on ignore, i will repost his link.

I've had enough!!!!! >:(

It's the abuses of this administration, which helped turn me and made me realize the gov't is out of control.  I now realize all gov't is force and oppose it, but had it not been for this administration getting out of control, I don't know where I would have gone, probably stayed asleep like so many others.

They can't kill all of the slaves, otherwise how can live off of them.

I just found this thread...

Good video.  To answer the question of why we put up with it it's easy really...

People fall into one of a couple groups but there are four largest groups...

1) Those who don't see the things listed as a problem because it's all in the name of security (the new "for the children" argument)

2) The ones who only see the other side doing it so they lash out at Republicans and ignore it when their side does the same or worse.

3) The idiots who just don't pay attention to what's going on.

4) Those who see the problem but don't know what to do about it.  Those who walk in on election day and continue voting for the problems because they see the other side as even worse (and often times they are right in thinking this way).
