All Doves:
Where does it say in
the Bible that Believers ("in Christ") will go through the Tribulation, or
any portion of the "Seven" year period, associated with Daniel's seventieth
week?
ABSOLUTELY NO WHERE!,
In the past week, I have used every computer Bible software program on my
computer, running various algorithm searches, combining every combination of
key words possible, running searches on nearly sixty sets of parameters, that
specifically says the Church will go through the Tribulation. I ran
various levels, from the most simple to extremely complex. I have
three "free" Bible software programs, and four "very expensive" Bible
software programs on my computer hard drive. I conducted mathematical
algorithm word and phrase studies over the course of two days in my hot attic
office.
I have actually discovered dozens of additional passages
which I did not have in my Pre-Tribulational binders, that I have accumulated
over the past few decades on God's theme of deliverance. The fact is
there is even more than I expected in the way of Biblical passages that
infer, corroborate, or support the Pre-Tribulational Rapture.
Last week the "Pre-Wrath-Rapture-Babble" site brought out their "Energizer"
Bunny, beating the drum that there is no Pre-Tribulation Rapture, and that we
(you and I) believe a lie, and then again the theologian whose qualifications
on the Bible is that he has an MBA, lives in Asia, and has a beautiful wife,
John Little, author of 'Omega Shock Letter', and that other
Anti-Semite, Joe Ortiz. I shouldn't forget to note they resurrected and
still hype and quote the dog called the Geneva Bible.
I have come to
the conclusion that the "Pre-Wrath-Rapture-Babble" site has studied the
propaganda of Joseph Goebbels. He was Adolf Hitler's propaganda czar,
in case you didn't know. Here are Hitler's basic principles and tactics
for brainwashing people:
1. Avoid abstract
ideas - appeal to the emotions i.e., fear.
2.
Constantly repeat just a few ideas, use stereotype phrases.
3. Give only one side of the argument.
4. Continuously criticize your opponents.
5. Pick out your special "enemy" for special
vilification.
These principles were synthesized and further tailored to
meet the needs of the Third Reich to gain public compliance with the Hitler
doctrine. This past week, the Pre-Wrath folks trotted out their stable
of disinformation, as predictable as usual, on the siting of the 'New Moon'
of the Sixth month, which precedes the month of Tishri, the month before Rosh
HaShanah. They have nothing new of substance, nothing Biblically to
support or defend their accusations that there is no Pre-Tribulation
Rapture. Just beat the drums a little louder and a little longer and
more frequently.
In my computer searching on Wednesday, I was actually
hoping to find, even one verse that taught the idea that the Tribulation was
for believers "in Christ". I even resorted to try taking the position
of "Devil's Advocate" of the wags at the "Pre-Wrath-Rapture-Babble" site,
thinking that I just might find some Bible passages that said we are going
to go through the Wrath of the Tribulation. They simply do not
exist. There is not a single passage or verse, not one! God
did not put a single verse in His Word to discomfort us into believing that
we would see any part of that fearful seven years of Tribulation. I
already have enough tribulation, and probably you as well, so we do not need
any of what the Bible has in store for those that scoff at God or reject the
word of the Creator. So, while my day was a lost cause in the sense of
finding any passages to support their view, it is really very exciting news
for those of us that do still believe in the Pre-Tribulation Rapture!
Let me share a find that I did not remember having in my 3-ring binders on
the Biblical evidence and support for the Pre-Tribulation Rapture.
1st Thessalonians 1:10 - "And to wait for his son from heaven,
whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, who delivered us from the wrath to
come." I hope that I am not being redundant here, and I don't
recall noting this passage before in any of my previous posts. In
reading the text, there are some observations worthy of noting here.
1. The Thessalonian church saints were continuously
waiting up for Christ Jesus to come from heaven, because they were confident
that He could come at any moment.
2. Christ
Jesus delivers Church saints from the future wrath of God.
3. Christ Jesus' deliverance of Church saints from
the wrath of God is an already obtained deliverance, and it will never cease
to be a present reality.
4. Christ Jesus will
execute that already obtained deliverance by separating Church saints from
the future wrath of God in the sense of preventing them from ever entering it
[wrath].
5. Christ Jesus will separate or
prevent Church saints from entering the future wrath of God through a mighty
act of power - drawing or snatching them out to Himself before the wrath
begins.
6. The wrath to come is the future
eschatological wrath of God that will begin with the broad Day of the Lord or
Tribulation.
Brothers and sisters "in Christ" this passage will
preach. This one verse of Scripture will be my text for my next
preaching opportunity. I have an invitation in two weeks as a guest
preacher.
I happened to venture over to the site of sensational
news and fear-mongering this afternoon and saw that they had put out their
bait line several places to pitch their Hitler/Goebbels propaganda.
When you have nothing to disprove the Pre-Tribulation Rapture, all you can do
is put new batteries in the "Energizer" bunny and just let it rip!
Remember my point if you get a little low, there is absolutely no Biblical
proof or evidence that you are going to go through the feared and dreaded
"Seven" year Tribulation.
Blessings abundantly fill your spirit
this week,
Pastor Bob
