Here is another way to hide your face from cameras,
low tech.

The infrared lights are not visible to the naked eye, unlike a mask.
To any other person it just looks like you have a silly hat with LEDs.

You mean the LEDs are visible, just not the light being emitted from them, I take it? There needs to be a way to conceal the LEDs within the hat, so it looks like a completely normal hat. Anyone know what materials are transparent to IR but opaque to visible light?

You could easily embed them in a thick beany.

I can see a market for beanies with embedded LED marquees. Scroll the 4th amendment or something across it, and the extra few LEDs won't be too noticeable. The added benefit is if someone is watching cameras live and went to confront you, it would be obvious that you're acting out of protest, not malice.
