Looks like we will be there too!  Huzzah!
Also, we are hoping to get to the "arraignment" of a peaceful man antagonized by a pushy gang member whimp.
Still trying to fiure out where that one is though.

I can't thank everyone enough who was able to participate in the Good Samaritan Rights demonstration on Tuesday 1/19/10 at the State Fire Marshal's office. It went quite well. To our knowledge a Fire Marshall has never been picketed before. It definitely left a lasting impression.

The average citizen envisions the Fire Marshall as an individual rescuing them from a burning building, think again. Generally unknown is that all city's, municipality's, state home or commercial property code enforcement officer's, investigator's, enforcement policy's, fire department's all fall under  direction and authority of the State Fire Marshal. Over the year's the Fire Marshal as with all these related officer's under him have been given unprecedented and unrestricted authority rising equal to or above all branch's of police law enforcement. Well known is that unchecked and unrestricted power breed's corruption.
A few example's of actions's in recent years by the State Fire Marshal's henchmen under the guise of protecting you :

* The felony arrest of a good Samaritan for good deed's in an ice storm.
* Seeking 60 day jail term for an individual repairing a hot dog concession trailer.
* Raiding owner's of a Dublin estate for & while setting up a benefit Town citizen's 2000 millennium party.
* Canceling insurance policy's on home owner's for performing their own work with upgrading their own home/ single family dwelling.
* Contacting local contractor's threatening their licensing if they make repair's for home owner's whom have performed their own work on  their own residence's so these home owner's would be unable to get  occupancy permission after the Fire Marshal ordered the repairs. NO shit!
* Violating the NH Constitution in not allowing worshippers in Church to hold candles at Christmas eve service.
* Trespassing on private property, looking in windows with entering propertys or home's due to probable cause being "construction debris on the property".
* Multiple investigation's with intimidation of homeowner's performing their own repair's or renovation's on their own property's as allowed to them under law.
* Blind eye to zealous prosecution by code enforcement officer's on property owner's leading to imprisonment on minor infraction's.
* 2000 filing of 14 civil rights violation's against Governor Jean Shaheen in Cheshire Superior Court for violations by Fire Marshal employee's.
(2 employee's were fired,1 reprimanded, 1 shipped out of Monadnock region to the coast. Notice local press wouldn't print a peep about it?) I know. I filed it.

Please contact Governor Lynch to end the Fire Marshall's vendetta. The first thing Lynch can do to help the state budget shortfall's in this economy is to stop wasting thousands of NH taxpayers dollars with his pursuit of incarcerating good Samaritans!!

Governor Lynch – Free Jean Coutu!

It is high time that Governor Lynch exercise his authority and power as the Chief Executive Officer of this political subdivision called New Hampshire! An underling of the Governor's in the Department of Safety is using State authority and resources to pursue a personal vendetta against Jean Coutu! (See related articles links below). Governor Lynch has been silent about this abuse of power. Governor, do you support the use of the States authority and resources to enact a form of personal retribution? Is this what citizens of NH should expect from your leadership?

There are plenty of possible culprits here none of which is Jean Coutu. First is the Property Owner. There are no requirements that a property owner use PSNH for power. Any property owner can go "Off the Grid" anytime they wish. If they do the Property Owner takes responsibility for their property, including making sure the "Main" switch to the PSNH resource is in the OFF position!

PSNH is a private enterprise and as such is responsible for the safety of their employees. Why is it that the NH Department of Safety and Governor Lynch have decided that it is the responsibility of private property owners to protect PSNH workers. PSNH is well aware of what is needed to protect their workers. Here in the Monadnock region we have a handful of property owners that "Back Feed" power into the PSNH lines constantly, even during power outages! Somehow, PSNH manages to protect their workers in that situation! This is a situation that will be occurring with increasing frequency as the country goes green, more power will be generated at the site of use and excess will be back fed into the PSNH service lines.

Finally, if the NH Department of Safety is so positive that giving advice violates State Regulations then they should go after a really large offender, TIME-LIFE BOOKS. They have been publishing and selling books on how to do your own electrical work at home for years in complete disregard for the NH Department of Safety's interpretation of the electrical regulations.

Governor Lynch, do the right thing and order the Department of Safety to drop these ridiculous charges immediately!
