Damn, only a few snow flurries here. Then again, I don't particularly like snow...

We are near the end of an Inter-Glacial period.  When it ends it will, probably be brought about by changes in the Ocean currents where they begin to deliver less warm water to the North.  If we are lucky a rise it the temperature of the Atmosphere due to the Greenhouse Effect might lessen the severity or slow it.

But I heard that if "climate change" melts any significant portion of Greenlands ice cap, it would disrupt the Gulf Stream that warms Europe.

Hey, Pat K, awhile a go I joked about you moving to Ohio...well that was before yesterday.  I probably shouldn't tell you about the tiny snowflakes columbus ohio got.  btw, how can a guy who swears he hates snow, live in new york.  Isn't that one of the better known snowy states?

Pat K

I live on the Isle of Long we have a temperate winter, but it does snow and it does suck.

It's unfortunate that the debate over "global warming" involves two sides who use different definitions. Both sides probably agree that the data indicate we're in a period of global warming. But the alarmists who insist that "it's all mankind's fault and we've got to do something!" are missing a key factor: Nature Happens, despite our best efforts.

Also on the other side are people who say that mankind has no influence at all.
