Les,

I echo your sentiments about death-loving capitalist bureaucracy exactly. Now it is 2009, one year after your post and nothin has changed in New Hampshire.

New Hampshire uses hanging if for some reason lethal injection cannot be given. In other words the hangmen justify themselves with a bureaucratic mistake so they can slowly strangle people when (A) they make a mistake with their injections, and (B) they make a mistake with their long drop hangings.

Hanging is a disgusting way to kill someone. That is how Hitler killed his opponents. He slowly hanged them with piano wire and watched it as a movie. That is disgusting. Hanging anyone is cruel, unusual, and disgusting punishment. Can't you live up to China's standards and shoot criminals in the head?

In England, the nobles got their heads chopped off as a treat. France invented the guillotine as a way to show equality and compassion. It is 2009 and America, Iran, and New Hampshire can't figure out that hanging is cruel, unusual, and disgusting.

Ok, I see you're really on this anti-hanging bandwagon. Ok, thats fine. Just give me one thing. Give me links to stories in which NH, within the last two decades, has used hanging as a means of execution.

Seriously, its one thing if "state law" allows such, but quite another if the State is ACTUALLY hanging people.

Please show me cause why this is a big deal, why this is more important than say, activists being injured and jailed. Because The State is ACTUALLY doing that...

If the state is never going to hang someone, why should there be a law that makes the inhumane practice "legal"?
