First it was Beecher and now this! Two victories in a week...   :)

Bourne V. Madison

The trial was held March 2007 and the court order just came out yesterday.
The Superior Court ruled there is NO prescriptive highway.
Landowner rights were upheld.

This is a case that was brought against the town of Madison by Sam Bourne so I doubt it's online anyplace just yet.
He just sent me the email on it as he received the judgement today.

Well their lucky it was Sam Bourne and not his cousin Jason
Cause then they would have had a real problem.

I'm not familiar with Jason...just know that we helped Sam and it was a long time coming but he finally won.
There were a lot of eminent domain cases in NH in the last couple years...

And the Beecher thing -- we can add him to our list of people who got fired, had to quit, or stepped down willingly because they saw the error of their ways..and I'm sure there were more before I came to work for the group...

The first thing Dover will do is hire an interim replacement and then spend 13 grand advertizing nationwide through the Municipal Government Center.  The solution would be to eliminate redundancy.  Why a Mayor and a City Manager?  There is no victory unless the position is eliminated.  I had a post on this that never made it to the right thread.

I agree but at least we nailed Beecher.
Apparently someone did not like that, but I can tell you we enjoyed it.  ;)
