Looks like the price is rising faster than their ability to change their websites for selling it.   I wonder if this continues will we see another attempt to outlaw private sales of gold?

Damn, I love gold eagles.  The place I buy them makes you call it in and lock price over the phone.

They've suspended sales for TWO WEEKS.  There's no way website issues are the explanation.  This is disturbing.

Yeah, they are slow, but come on!
Very interesting indeed.

So what.  In itself it means little, one can always choose a variety of different bullion options.  (Although Eagles are my favorite.  Canadian gold coins have terrible die marks, and the Philharmonic is too wide and flat.)

For "bullion", why would someone choose a coin with such a high markup? Those Krugerrands, while not .999 gold, do contain one troy ounce and are a much better bang for the buck - very recognizable, as well.
