Wanted: Hard drive

I need some more storage space on an old P3 linux box.  The OS takes up most of the HD (I think its about 5GB).  I realize these are fairly cheap now, but I'm on a very limited budget.  If anyone has an old one stashed in a closet somewhere, I'd be able to offer you something for it.

Hey, I actually do have a hard drive laying around. It's only 40GB so you aren't going to get a whole LOT of porn onto it, but it should hold you over. One half ounce .999 silver. Let me know the next time you'll be down this way and I'll have it ready for you.

 Ahhhh, what kind of hard drive???  I'm not a weenie so I only know IBM pc or Apple/   or something that scares me.  Is it IBM pc???  I have a 10, a 20 a shit load of 2.5s and a 40 that I'm fighting with now.
