QuoteI'm not sure how the presence of aliens would refute or change the quantum Zeno effect.

If there were a million times more aliens than Earthlings, wouldn't that mean it would dilute our effect?

Quotequantum theory says that whenever we observe or measure something, we could stop it decaying due what is what is called the "quantum Zeno effect," which suggests that if an "observer" makes repeated, quick observations of a microscopic object undergoing change, the object can stop changing

And of course we're absolutely sure that we're the only "observers" in the system  ::)...

Are you talking about aliens?  I'm not sure how the presence of aliens would refute or change the quantum Zeno effect.
I know our cat observes the little electrons moving around ... it makes them run for cover.

Is the cat being observed? If not, is it a living cat or a dead cat? Does it really matter? If you vote, does it kill the cat? If you leave the cat alone in it's natural state, will it get hit by a car and die? Does anyone really know what the hell anyone is talking about?

Sure, but we'd still have an effect, right?  It'd just mean that all those aliens would have the same effect.
