Happy New Year to all of my friends on this forum and Caleb!

Kat Kanning

Happy new years!  I hope it is a great year for the freedom movement.

Friday

Ring out the old,
ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
The year is going, let him go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true.

~ Lord Alfred Tennyson

Since my computer keeps time in UTC, it's already 2008-01-01 here. ;D

Friday

Screw the crystal apple in Times Square; we should start a New Year's Eve tradition of watching PatK slide down a fireman's pole.  There was an old fire station for sale in NH recently, so this is not beyond the realm of possibility!!

Would I have to wear a lighted suit?

Wearing nothing  but a couple of sets of Christmas tree lights.  We can test this at Burning Porcupine

No you damn Texan, sliding up the pole, would be a problem,
