you might be mixing me up with another guy .... but

I wouldn't impeach someone ... but why wouldn't I enjoy watching it happen, while I do my own thing? :)

Nope. But I remember you were agreeing with him nearly completely, so...

Ah. So you're just watching but not getting involved in or supporting the impeachment movements?

Russell Kanning

hey ... if someone says "impeach" .... I agree. :)

There is something to be said, though, for abandoning government to let it grow at its natural (unchecked) rate, while withdrawing all support for it, and showing others the way.

Tampering with the government to slow down its growth rate and degree of harm, only serves to make it more agreeable to a greater number of people, thus perpetuating its existence in exchange for short term relief.  The only way there will ever be a mass movement to abandon government completely, is for enough people to get fed up with its rate of its growth, and consequent interference in their lives.  Period.

I don't want impeachment, and the inevitable complacency that it would engender.  I am going for a decisive end to State-based government, the sooner the better.

Russell Kanning

I agree with you Menno .... I just don't mind other people who want to hold "impeach" signs :)

Of course, what they do is their own business.

If they don't succeed, their frustration with government will increase.  If they do succeed, it would be a bit of a setback for those of us who delight in an increasingly dysfunctional government -- but persistence still wins the race.
