The next story on the site is one of an Iranian couple biking around the world for peace.  they are the people that many politicians want to kill due to the iranian gov't. 
I'm sorry, that is not peppy, but the story is.   :)

That is not true.  Seeing people put a human face on Iran, is a good thing.  It may be the one thing that will save them, which is a good thing.

Are they still clubbing these things to death for their fur?

There used to be a lot of protests surrounding the issue. I haven't heard anything about it in years.

I thought that was seals?  Gosh, even polar bears too as if the seals weren't bad enough!  I honestly have to say I don't even want to know unless I knew of a way to stop it. :'(
