There's nothing "dear" about that fat, fascist pig.
I don't respect people like that.

This is policy?
This is accepted behavior?
This is something that's not punishable by immediate termination?
This is something that goes unprosecuted?
This is condoned by YOU and the Stark County government, and the Ohio State government?
They act under YOUR direction.
Are you in some way not culpable for allowing this sort of thing to happen in YOUR facility?

"the Sheriff is the chief law enforcement officer. His primary duties are to provide court services, operate a county jail and provide full police services"

I'll say.  It looked like you just about serviced her like a bull services a cow.  Those officers are a disgrace to the law enforcement community, a disgrace to the people of the united States of America, and a disgrace to the human race.  You not only associate yourself with them, but condone their conduct?

Tell me how that sort of thing even pretends to be for anyone's safety, how it can masquerade as appropriate professional conduct, and how it's not a crime just because the standards of conduct that apply to the rest of us somehow don't apply to those holy, brave men and women in blue who were obviously putting their very lives on the line?

You can close your eyes all you want, but that's just the sort of thing that breeds an "us against them" mentality and culture.  Why should anyone in their right mind have any respect for people so willing to treat them like human garbage?

You're only giving the citizens of Ohio enough rope to hang you all with. If the people there didn't have a reason to want to harm cops "just because you wear the uniform" ... well they probably do now, and it's not just because of the uniform - it's what you do while you're in it, and think you ought to be able to get away with, just because some idiot employed you.
"Just following orders," wasn't a valid defense at the Nuremburg trials, and it isn't one in MY country.

Now maybe if people know that the police officers trying to arrest them are working for your department, they'll never let themselves be taken alive, no matter how trivial the charge.  Because of you and your "policies."  You're just making your situation harder and more dangerous.  Just go on and keep adding those straws.  Keep hiding behind your precious "book."  I've got a feeling you'll need to.  We don't want another police state where we have to live in daily fear of the blue shirts.

Thank God I live hundreds of miles away from your Stark County cesspool.

If you are wondering how often this happens I can say from personal experience it happens when they ask if you have thoughts of harming yourself and you:

  • Don't answer
  • Don't answer immediately and emphatically "No".
Furthermore, you are put on suicide watch where someone is looking into your cell continuously, the lights never get turned off, and if you get clothes, they are that quilted weighted dress.
Being brought in front of a judge in chains is bad enough, chains imply a dangerous animal.
Being brought up in prison garb is also bad, the uniform implies one is already part of the prison population.
But being brought up in that mental patient quilted dress implies she's just out of her head, and locking her up would protect her and everyone around her.

TackleTheWorld

If you are wondering if this happens in New Hampshire, I can say from personal experience -yes it does.  To everyone that refuses to change clothes when they are ordered to.

She seemed like the only sane person in that cell. Anyone not screaming and crying when crazy shit like that is being done to them would seem less sane to me.

What does that mean?  Do I really want to know?  Do you really want to tell me?

You haven't heard my involuntary clothes changing stories?  I can repeat them here if you like.

Bald Eagle

I think you need to repeat them on the news, or on a honey of a Ridley-O with that video playing in the background.

I might slip off and get a bourbon and a sedative before I read your reply.   >:(   :(   :'(
