another thing i noticed is that SHE isnt doing any interviews. or doesnt seem to be. i think that proves how humiliating having that video shown on tv is. letting her husband talk for her. not bad enough that it happened to her but now for the rest of eternity that video will be played, whether for training videos or entertainment, (sadly) it will be around forever getting viewed by strangers. imagine how hard it was for her to make the decision to approve the release of the video (that is what the newscast said right?)  but i want to know how many more they have and what they do with them? how  long do they store them for? handling procedures? etc...

In the vid, I believe the husband stated they both wanted the videos shown to the public.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

and I am very sure their lawyer/s are instructing them on what to say and what not to say. It might be best to stay quiet.

Stark County Sheriff's Office
4500 Atlantic BLVD NE
Canton, Ohio 44705-4374

Read Ohio's Patriot Act.  It is more pernicious than the U.S. version.
The sheriff deputies will most likely be exonerated.

Dave VonKleist led with this story this morning. His good wife spent the next hour and a half berating him for it.

I made a cartoon in 06 about prison strip searches, I sent it to cathleeninnh but I think it got confiscated because I've never seen it posted.  Here it is - recreated today.

If you are wondering if this happens in New Hampshire, I can say from personal experience -yes it does.  To everyone that refuses to change clothes when they are ordered to.
exactly .... once you enter their system they do not treat you like a human being .... this is what happens if you go down a certain path .... suddenly you have no rights

This video (and others) AND ordeals such as Lauren had to face will only bring about more awareness to the commonfolk.

It will continue to escalate and more and more people will learn not to trust police officers. Not only will the commonfgolk lose trust in them but IMO they will develop a hatred towards them.

That is why the next nazi step will be to regulate the internet as these videos, messages etc are effectively having an impact on bringing about the truths.

so is it "policy" to video tape strip searches too?

I obviously can't speak for a jail in Ohio, but generally speaking all uses of force (which this was) will be videotaped. That's in case there's an allegation of abuse -- and in this case, what's shocking is that they're denying this was abuse!

So I'm guessing that it was another jailer that was taking the video. Anyone know how it got on the internet? Don't suppose this is one of those "meant to be a distraction" items.

goo9d point, maybe Arlon Spector can do an investigation into this and limin the i8nternet to police only, that would solve the problem!

The wife and husband are suing. They requested the tape during discovery (and they're entitled to have it, so they got it). They released it to the media.

They should institute a lawsuit that will bankrupt the entire county government

They'll just raise taxes to make up the losses.
