Just heard on Boortz from one of the Institute for Justice lawyers:

There will be a rally for the homeowners in front of City Hall in New London on July 5 at 6:00.
A.M. or P.M. I do not know. I assume P.M.

On Tuesday, July 5th, New London will hold a city council meeting, and the
Institute for Justice is coordinating a rally beforehand to ask city council to
save the homes of Susette Kelo and her neighbors.  If you are anywhere near
Connecticut, we hope you'll join us and voice your support for the homeowners
and property rights.  The rally will be held at 6pm at New London City Hall,
181 State Street, New London, CT.  By saving these homes, we can show the
country that, regardless of what the Supreme Court says, eminent domain abuse
is wrong.

In addition, today the Institute for Justice launched the "Hands Off My Home"
campaign to focus the universal wave of opposition to the Kelo decision into
the only venue left for home and small business owners:  state courts, state
legislatures, and the initiative process.  You can find out more about our
plans by visiting www.IJ.org.

I saw Kat, Ralf ;D, Jim Perry,  Bob Hull and Estelle from L.I.at the rally in New London.? The turnout was not as large as I hoped it would, but, the people  were pumped!
Couple of CT TV outfits.? I hope it gets national coverage.

There is some video.  We're guessing there were about 300 very angry people there.  Russell went up to the city council meeting and said the theives were sweating.  One of the reporters told me that there'd been a bomb threat on city hall earlier in the day.  I've got a ton of photos that'll be posted later.

Excellent photos, great crowd, and some very good news coverage. The WFSB footage was great!

Thanks for the updates. I'm on my second 16-hour day, with 3 hours of sleep before each day.  :-\
I'm sneaking a peak at the forum from work.
