Now that I'm employed again, I'd like to start converting a portion of my paycheck to silver.    Anyone here interested in selling silver on an ongoing weekly basis?

There are coin shops, but I'd like do business with a porc first.

Prices have dipped a bit I'd buy a load right now. April-May have been the low points for the last couple of years...

Dammit. I just bought a bunch last week at $20 an ounce.  :(
Oh well, that's how it goes I guess.

If you go here:  http://www.cmi-gold-silver.com/
you can sign up to get an e-mail with the closing prices everyday.

That's cool Goldcentral.com and APMEX.com offer that as well. Personally, I don't need it since I check prices at least once a day ;)

lol.  don't worry, you'll feel better real soon.  I promise.

Yeah. If the last two years are any indication, prices may hit their yearly low over the next 60 days or so.

If you don't end up finding what you need from fellow porcs, maybe you could find enough others willing to make group buys every x weeks ( 2 or 4 perhaps).  With enough participants, the shipping costs become negligible per-person, and the per-ounce price is lower as well.  I think I'd like to start doing this soon.

If anyone does a group buy on silver please let me know I would be interested in getting started in silver.

Thanks

I am still a net buyer but interested in keeping the market going. I am at Taproom Tuesdays 1-2 times a month and the MVP meeting most months. I'll try to bring silver along each time.

I've never been to any of these, but I've heard of:

Bob's Coins
378 Kelley St,
Manchester, NH 03102

Lee Certified Coins
454 Daniel Webster Hwy,
East Merrimack, NH 03054

Village Coin Shop
Route 125, P.O. Box 207
Plaistow, NH 03865-5492
603-382-5492

If you visit any of these (or others) please let us know what the prices are like (both buying and selling).

Who's right about the price drop? Me! 8-)

As far as coin shops though, be sure to find one that doesn't follow the paperwork requirements. God knows that 9/11 changed everything... I know a wholesaler who is great, but he's nowhere near NH.

Thanks for the tips so far. As a new buyer, is there anything I should look out for?
