Should women ask men out?

While that's true about men being clueless when a chick likes them, being nice wouldn't hurt :)

Looking him deep in his eyes and smiling really big and saying nice things about him -- perfect. Cause it lets him ask you out while still maintaining the illusion that it was his idea all along.

That is pretty bad advice. Too many of us libertarian and/or nerdy guys have no clue. I'd bet a lot of us would just assume that she is just being nice.

Oh believe me... if you don't notice, they increase their efforts. 'Hinting' is something women tend to excel at.

I'm ever so appreciative that Soundwave asked me out!   8)

Any women willing to risk rejection by being the asker instead of the askee is right heroic in my book.

I've never been asked out by a woman.

Ha, ha!  I was going to use the big smiley but can't.  I've never been asked out by a women at least as far as I can remember but I did have a couple women show an interest in me that I knew wasn't just for friendship all I can say is it was pretty different.

Yeah. Depending on the guy he may not get it. Still, doesn't hurt to try that first. Flirting is fun, anyway, and at least the guy will be happy, even if he doesn't get that you are into him.

And if you are a guy who won't make a move until you are 100% certain that a gal likes you, well, live a little bud.  :) Take a chance. Carpe diem. Life is too wonderful to waste worrying.

A few years/females ago, I was asked out by a female police officer--who happened to be in one of my classes. She was quite attractive for a copper, so I said why not. She was trying to get down on the 1st date, which was fine but I made her wait a few days to leverage some control. Eventually her cop-i-ness got annoying, though she did like to "party." So after a few months of this I just told her to get lost but she kept texting me over time to try to get back on board, so to speak. I never minded being asked out (for the flattering aspect), but I also have no problem doing the asking.

Well, the results of this poll were pretty unequivocal.  I'm running out of excuses.  :-\

Hoped for outcome:  :love4: :love4:

I think so.  We're all dying to know who the lucky guy is.

Guys have a wingman assigned prior to engagement.  I don't know what women do... wingwomen maybe.

chicks call them "girlfriends" right? .... but aren't they for laughing at us guys ... especially bad pickup lines
