When asked how it felt to be the best rock guitarist in the world Jimi Hendrix said  "I don't know you'll have to ask Rory Gallagher."

Rory was kind of bloated looking from his chronic, deteriorating health issues. He had particularly acidic skin that ate the finish off his guitar. The first Fender Stratocaster imported into Ireland.

A working musician till the end, he never sold out and played for the joy of it. To think an Irishman could channel the soul of a Mississippi Delta Blues black man. He played authentic style slide etc with his own Irish influenced flavor added in.

Sitting here in Berkeley on the water... William is sleeping from 4 days pulling double duty... He is the second hardest working man in show business ( after James Brown of course). Set ups and break downs, shooting video and helping out the AV production crew. They are wanting to hire him for more gigs.
