Sweet, I need to debate if I hike Mt. Washington again this year.  I've done it twice in the past 4 years.  It has always been a beautiful day when I was up there and you could for MILES.

Russell Kanning

what is the farthest you have ever seen on a mountain top?

From the top of Bryce Canyon you can see Pikes Peak.

it has been cold in the mornings and we get with from the northwest almost every day ... very unusual for round here .... the jet stream must be right over us for a few days and it is making it wicked cold on the mountain

I was on top of Mt Fuji during a typhoon, that was fun.  ;D

Russell Kanning

maybe it is southern hemisphere warming and we are getting some cold

K. Darien Freeheart

And it's 81 degrees here. :S

Lucky bastards, I hate the heat and am looking forward to a more acceptable New Hampshire climate.

kola

its snowing here in the high mountains in Colorado....and it snowed most of last weekend as well.

global warming hmm.

next they will say that car emissions have triggered global warming and the gloal warming has NOW triggered global cooling. Once the cooling stops (which according to them will be "very soon") global warming will become even worse.

How is Rattygirl? anyone know? I thought maybe she'd come back after that skank Ivy left.

Wait, now its not global warming its "global climate change". Sorry, forgot to keep up with the new politically correct, environmental extremist lingo. 'Cause, we all know, the climate NEVER changes.

Global warming.

Global extremism.  It gets hotter and it gets colder all at the same time!

For May 28th- 16 deg.

Its still cold up there folks.

Yeah, but the Auto Road is open to the top. You can drive your land yacht to the peak in heated comfort.  :)

Wouldn't the top of a canyon be... level ground?
