I watched that last night and thought it was actually pretty fair. They made a point of mentioning that nobody unholsters to show what they're carrying and that people their tended NOT to focuse on guns during the picnic. And they interviewed brown people!

I think it, with or without trying to, broke just about every stereotype about gun ownership in general. Of course, they didn't follow that story up with "Truck owners are not doing "open driving" - driving their trucks in plain sight!" so it hasn't gotten past the ONE main issue yet, but I think open carry is making headway. :)

Do we want to have on in NH?  I'll organize it, I just need to know that there will be people and a good weekend for it....and where...Concord, Nashua, Manchester, Hampton Beach?

Manchester is the most central location if you want people other than immediate locals to attend.

Definitely. I say we have one at one of the parks in the middle of Manchester, like that one across from the library.

Come to think of it, maybe it should be held in Nashua, Concord, Hampton or Lebanon instead. There already has been a lot of open-carrying stuff going on in Manchester.

That is true, but the police don't seem to have it in there head, that open carry is a right, in Manchester.  Of course, that may be true elsewhere also.

Good point. We should probably spread the love.

I say Hampton. In the historic district there is a nice common where we can have the picnic, lots of traffic going by there because there is Route 1 going by and Route 18  (I think thats the number).

Although you've already decided against Manchester, and how I wish you'd reconsider, that park is at times a vagrant's haven.  People are sleeping on the benches all the time, so turnout could be Porcs + 4.
