I keep seeing this ad pop up here on the forum and it's rather disturbing.

doobie

This is the same McCain who got in bed with Russ Feingold and sold some more First Amendment rights down the river in the name of "campaign finance reform." Has everyone forgotten this already?

Russell Kanning

you will have to outbid him to make the ads go away :)

Brandon

Something tells me that most of the posters on this board aren't going to be swayed the ad.

Some of the posts I have seen over the past year and half make me think that there are more Obama lovers here than McCain lovers.  Have I made a wrong assumption?  Frankly I hate that fact that I have to vote for a lesser of two evils or throw a vote away on a third party candidate.    Obama is the pits and McCain is not much better.

OH come on, not the wasted vote fallacy again.

Error did voting for Perot get Perot elected or Clinton elected?  In the primary I had not problem voting for my man.  But I would hate to think voting for who I want may get Obama elected.   I may have to move out of the country if Obama gets elected.

If you vote for who you want, and Obama gets elected, then next time don't vote for Obama.

I don't believer there are any fill in the blank lovers of politicians here.

If your choices were Stalin and Mao, for whom would you vote?

McCain and Obama both support war, the draft, national healthcare, higher taxes, federal involvement in education, "national greatness," and further regulation of any activity they want.

Finally, your vote doesn't matter. Never in history has a state's presidential vote come within 100 votes, let alone 1. You will not cause Obama to be elected if your stay home or write in "Mickey Mouse."

Much more important is your activism that spreads your political choices beyond your single vote. You will not find a fertile ground for McCain, or Obama, or anti-Obama, or even voting at all on this forum.

I will continue to vote, notably for some local reps that I believe do make a difference. For president, I cannot vote for McCain, Obama, Barr, or Phllies; most likely I will write-in "Ron Paul."

Tritto.  I don't think anyone here loves Obama or McCain.
