Funny he specifically mentions Joe Arpaio, one of the reasons I left AZ.

Joe Arpaio is a great man. He is the only man who truly does to Mexican illegal immigrants what Mexico does to Central American illegal immigrants. Mexico shoots them, Arpaio puts them on chain gangs. Close enough. So Arpaio is the only man who truly delivers justice. He doesn't coddle them. He does to them what they do to other people. He doesn't just give them a free ride back to Mexico to try again. He puts them on the chain gang. And the result of all of this has been that less and less illegals have been coming to Joe's county. They all come to California instead where they know they'll be coddled and they can do whatever they want and they won't be held accountable.

So I sent back a response with links to stories and website about how fucked up Arpio is.

She responded that she wouldn't have her mind changed! And something else about how she doesn't hate America like I do.

What I meant was that Mexico punishes Central American illegal immigrants by shooting them when they go across Mexico's southern border. So we ought to do something more substantial to Mexican illegal immigrants than either giving them amnesty or returning them to Mexico to try again.

Do I think Mexican illegal immigrants should be shot who go across our border? Absolutely not. But I think there should be some punishment attached to it that is greater than being given amnesty or simply being returned back to Mexico to try again, if only because Mexico would never even dream of giving any illegal immigrants into it amnesty, and it punishes much more than returning illegal immigrants into it back to Central America in order to try again. Sheriff Joe Arpaio is the only man that I have seen that is willing to dish out punishment to them, in the form of jail and chain gangs, rather than doing what 99% of other people want to do with them, which is either give them amnesty, or at best, send them back across the border in an air-conditioned bus to try again.
