For porcs who know me only! I have service on 3 cell phones and two laptop cards and am downsizing. I will be canceling service unless someone needs them and would like to make the payments. The pc cards are unlimited service via sprint.

"Mobile Broadband Sprint PCS Connection Cards™ operate at average download speed range from 400 to 700 Kbps, with peak rates up to 2 Mbps in Mobile Broadband coverage areas and at average speeds of 40-70 Kbps, with peak rates up to 144 Kbps on the Sprint Nationwide PCS Network.

Here is a coverage map.

You'll get the faster speeds in the orange areas and the slower speed other places. I have a usb card and a pcmcia card so you could have either. The service is $60 mo. plus fees and taxes so about $70. The cards are about $100 new, I'll lend you mine for as long as you're utilizing the service. New broadband coverage by all major carriers is now limited to 5gb usage per month. I am grandfathered into unlimited which is why I would like to keep the cards going instead of canceling the service but I can't pay every month just to have it sitting around.

The phones are Samsung SPH a900's. The service plan covers 500 anytime minutes, unlimited nights and weekends, nights start at 7pm, no roaming, no long distance and unlimited sprint to sprint. $50 per month. You might be able to keep a particular number if we go to Sprint in person and haggle them. There is currently no texting but could be added I think.

Another bonus is that you would have a certain level of anonymity and I'll take payment in silver (maybe even partial shire hours).

I don't want to make another payment before canceling the service or passing it on so let me know soon.

I think he may have been taking the picture?

On a similar note, Verizon also has mobile broadband access http://tinyurl.com/5eagy7. Coverage area seems to be a lot larger, though the max speed is slightly lower.

Me thinks the browser doesn't like the tiny url.

Its probably because you want to call him 'Bill'.

My nephew Billy moved out to Albuquerque and became 'Will'

This is Lloyd 'signing off' unless I'm in CT where I'm Bob.

The bad thing about Verizon, or Sprint, or any Wireless Carrier now (including Wild Blue) is there is a 5 GIG limit on your download per month. This is ridiculous when one web page can be 1 to 2 or more megabytes. 1024 megbytes = 1 GIG. That is why he wants to try and offer these to people. I currently use sprint here in California and am also grandfathered into the unlimited usage which is unavailable now.

Nice. Most people only use 2-3 GB/month. You have to realize not everyone is as tech centric as we are 8-). Vzw also has a 10GB/mo plan but its 100(?)/mo so it doesn't make sense unless you're having your fortune 500 company pay for it while you go to global trade fairs ;).

Well I go through 40-60 GIG's a month on my wireless, 5, or 10 GIGS isn't going to do it, lol. Even if we don't need the extra download limit with the internet being the best place for freedom of speech to meet millions of people, and to limit people in any way to that information is wrong. So I will be keeping up my sprint wireless connection until  they take away my unlimited downloads because of this.
