Another my house is haunted post

Rick is starting to believe!      It took 2 years but now he is questioning some weird stuff, (not me, he's been ??? me for years  ).

The bathroom window:

Absolutely no one is opening it, it's been closed every morning and then all of a sudden the damn window is wide open!  This has happened, I think 3 times now!  This is one of the main reasons Rick is questioning stuff now because the window thing happened to him and no one was even awake for him to blame the suddenly opened window on.

My daughter's door keeps opening too and it has stayed shut all of this time but all of a sudden it starts opening, weird!

Last night I sent my dog to bed when Rick went, (no strange images, please   ), and stayed up for awhile.  I heard my dog wagging his tail behind me as I was headed upstairs, he always wags his tail whenever I do anything so I turned around to yell at him because he was supposed to be upstairs already.  Guess what?   My dog wasn't behind me, nothing was but this dark evil presence so I screamed and ran up the stairs.

Oh yeah and also Rick turned the heat on the other morning and then found it be in the off position, again with no one awake to blame it on.

if you think that is creepy you should come check out the abandoned place next to me.  It is abandoned because the father tragically committed suicide years ago. 

So for one: When I was a kid his daughters my sister and I used to play in that house.  They had a swingset that we all used to play on.  I clearly remember him and his wife sitting on the swingset when I was younger.  The kids (us) would be at play elsewhere and he and his wife would be watching the sunset on the swings.  I was told that he became depressed because his business went under.  He came up by himself and a lot of people saw him just sitting on the swingset alone.  He went inside and that was that.  Swingset came down.  House locked up.  No one has been back there for more than a day trip in about 6 years.  Every once in a while you can hear the swing set going back and forth.  No, not trees creeking in the wind a VERY metallic distinguishable sound.  My former room mate thought I was absolutely nuts until one night she heard it too.  As soon as she called someone down to hear it the noise went away.

Another:  When we first got our dog we didnt have a fenced in yard.  I would walk him around the block and occasionally cut through the path/easement that joins my street to the one behind us.  Coincidentally this path is on the far side of their lot which you can see their house from pretty clearly.  My dog stopped in his tracks and started growling at the house.  I looked and clearly saw someone looking out the window from the former living room (where it all happened) and I had a flashlight with me I quickly shined it right in the window and there was no one.  I turned around and ran home with the dog. 

Another:  One night we tape recorded the swingset noises.  A good 45 seconds of sound.  When we played it back you could CLEARLY hear someone crying softly.  We rewound the tape and listened to it a few times.  We were all freaked out and left it in the recorder.  In the morning we went to play it for a friend but  the first 5-8 second would go by the tape went blank and then the last 5-8 second played ... no one had touched the recorder.

There are more weird things about that place. 

Some of it has a lot to do with the kids in our neighborhood that break into it but a couple of times officers have responded to other neighbor's calls, neighbors that swear they heard someone and saw someone over there inside the house and then watch the house until someone responds sometimes in as little as 2 minutes, and the police find no one ...

One of the creepiest instances of that was last winter.  A neighbor called the police they took a photo of a figure in the house.  It was CLEAR that a person was in there.  The police responded and before they did I noticed there wasnt a single footprint in the snow going to the house.   They noticed it as well.  Neighbor felt crazy until she showed them the picture and they just shrugged.

Holy Smokes!  That is really creepy and blows my haunted house out of the water!   Shoot, I'd rather live with the strange harmless crap that happens here than the stuff you wrote about.

Thanks and please pm me and give me advice.  If you want my phone # instead let me know, this is getting too creepy for me.  It's at the point where I feel like I'm going nuts.   I don't talk to whatever it is or them at all, they scare me horribly.   I've been around other "things" that don't seem so intimidating but whatever this is it's not like anything I've ever been around.  Another thing too my animals have changed and seemed creeped out too.

I have done a sage cleansing even in the yard, along the property line, blah, blah and it didn't help a bit, it seems to have made it worse in my opinion.

My daughter had a light go on whenever she walked past it last night and then it went off when she went past it again.  I feel drained, more depressed than ever and I'm positive the way I'm feeling is linked to this house, it's just something I feel. 

I can tell you more weird stuff but I don't feel like going on about it right now.   I don't know about a priest, aren't they going to think I'm crazy?  What demonination and what do I say?

It has been relatively calm around here, a few strange things, but for the most part I haven't been too scared until a couple days ago.   I was in my bedroom walking toward my bathroom when all of a sudden I heard someone say, mom 2 times but the way it was said was very evil, growly, and dragged out so I thought maybe my son was in the hallway trying to scare me.  This overwhelming sense that my bedroom door was going to slam shut by itself came over me for some reason and I felt prompted to go find out if it was my son trying to scare me.  Well, I looked into his room and he was sound asleep!   This morning I heard weird sounds coming from the hallway bathroom upstairs as I walked by so I just ran downstairs.  Tonight my daughter was taking a bath in the same bathroom and she said the flowers we have on the toilet tank flew off violently and landed upright on the floor by the heater.

What the heck do you think is going on?  Why does it seem to be getting worse?   I'm really, really not imagining this stuff because it scares the crap out of me and I don't want it near me.   There are some extra negative emotions in the house right now and I'm wondering if that makes whatever is happening worse? 

I'm afraid to go to the church because I'm afraid they're going to think I'm nuts so what should I do?   I said the prayer out loud that you wrote above and got more scared so I don't want to do that again because I feel like I'm being watched and that prayer is going to make it worse.

Thanks for this post and I actually have some good news.  Everything has been pretty calm and "normal" around here lately so I'm taking that as a good sign.

I had a talk with my daughter, (her and I were the most afraid), and asked her to stop along with me of course, focusing on the weird things that have been happening and kind of ignore them if we can so that whatever it is doesn't have our fear and negative energy to feed off of.   I don't know if this will fix anything permanently but it's been pretty non eventful since we've been doing this.

I'll keep you posted if you want me to and thanks again escpecially for not thinking I'm crazy and taking this whole thing seriously.
