It's the end of the world as we know it... and I feel fine.

Obama wins and it doesn't matter... I mean in the "choice" between the grizzled old Fascist and the new communist.

Error's Porc 411 was like a wake annoucement, sorry man it is just another day...

I wrote a cheer for the election results. Wanna hear it?  Here it is!

I can't believe the contrast of two years ago, when I was beyond bummed, where the same thing happened, only without a pres change. Now, I honestly don't care, knowing things were gonna suck anyways. Nothing changed really, cheers!

I tossed my early voter ballot in the trash a few weeks back.

I considered voting against Sheriff Joe Arpaio, but I didn't know much about the challenger, and generally disagree with the "lesser of two evils" argument.

I also considered voting for the small government option on the ballot questions.  However, I just couldn't justify endorsing either side of most issues.  If there was a smaller government option, it was usually a vote to keep the status quo.  I don't agree with the current size of the state, so why would I cast a vote to keep things the same?

My conscience is clean.

In case you were wondering about Sheriff Joe, he won again.  How sad that the most tyrannical sheriff in the nation keeps getting reelected.

I think it's great news.  It means the Shire will likely beat the Vermonties to the punch at secession.    :icon_pirat:

I love how NPR keeps pointing out his race. Well, half of his race.
They seem to leave out that he is half white.  :-\

Anyway, politics sucks and we are fucked as usual.

when this presidential campaign began ... like 4 or 5 years ago right? ... I was worried Hillary would be president ... I feel like I dodged a bullet or something. :)

My friends here know my work and see my efforts... I have helped make change to the world around me from the small helping my friends to the large 10's of millions of an international audience.

Uh.... making a number of very high quality promotional videos for the Free State Project and various small-to-no government groups in New Hampshire that have been viewed by thousands and thousands of people on YouTube and throughout the U.S.?

How soon before I can smite this guy again?   :blob6:

Funny thing for me is that just a few years ago I would have know the results within minutes. This time a never heard a word about the election all day or night yesterday . . . Now, I'm just learning the news (and I wasn't looking for it) about an hour ago. I guess I really don't care about that game anymore.

Speaking of big games; after one of the big sporting event final games this year, it was about 24 hours before I knew the results. Now I'm thinking. How many people vote and how many people watch (say) the superbowl?

Anyway, since that cat is out of the bag, let me make a few guesses:
About half of those who could vote didn't.  ;D
Of the half that voted, maybe 5% voted for other that the big R=D & D=R party.
Most media aren't counting the "3rd party" & nonvoters when giving the total % that the guys who came in 1st & 2nd collected.
Most media is making it look like 100% of the people voted for the R=D & D=R party, and that now everyone can set their differences aside a get down to the "business of governing."  :(
