The Criminal Justice and immigration Act 2008 will come into force on January 26th 2009 in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and will create the new offense of "possession of extreme pornographic images."  The people (or animals) in the illegal images don't have to be real, but in order to get busted under the new law, a reasonable person looking at the image would have to think that the people and animals portrayed were real.

When they banned child pornography, some argued that it was just the first step toward banning other forms of porn. Naturally such arguments get dismissed by most people as "defending child-rapists" or similar.

Now they're banning vaguely-defined "extreme" porn.

Need I say more?

An anonymous reader was one of several to note a bizarre story in which an Australian judge ruled that drawings can be child porn. In this case, it was knock off drawings of the Simpsons doing naughty things. Good thing they're going to be censoring the Down Undernet soon. Who knows what damage this could cause.

Wow, sick f*cks.  As long as he didn't sell for profit then there is no victims.

Apparently the UK censored http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virgin_Killer because it depicts a naked-ish prepubescent girl... whoever thinks that is porn is the one with the problem, I know I couldn't get off on that.

What?

I'm guessing some sort of copyright infringement? Except, parody is protected legally, and I would hardly call interfering with the government "intellectual property" racket "victimizing" someone.
