I wonder if "Poezenboot" (literally "pussy boat", in the non-vulgar definition) is a bilingual Dutch play on "puss in boots".

When I visited in 82 the sign at the gangplank read Puss in Boots as well as De Poezenboot. Henriette said it seemed to help bring in money after she had put that up.

I see they are feeding them processed cat food these days. I was there at feeding time and Henriette was tossing dead chicks out onto the floor for the cats. That was an experience!
