he has an amazing track record on his predictions. he predicts everything from color trends several years from now to political ones. those are the scariest ones of all. he is now saying we will become the first "undeveloped" nation in the world, and within a short amount of time (12 months or so i think) ive been turning everyone i know onto him.
a couple other guys are martin weiss and peter schiff. they are also saying the same stuff and have been for years. also there are lots of good articles on http://www.marketoracle.co.uk/

Another good prediction site is this guy George Ure from urbansurvival (http://www.independencejournal.com/today.htm)

He has a lot of information on his site from a guy that does predictive linguistics (http://urbansurvival.com/simplebots.htm). I won't go into the details but this seems like an awesome software innovation. In the few months I've been reading George's site, he's been pretty much dead-on.

He also advertises a book called "How to Live on $10,000" that I haven't got around to reading yet, but think it would be of interest to most of the forum readers here.

I found this thread cuz I just watched a video of Celente and was wondering if he had ever been discussed here.  I'm not sure if the U.S. commercial real estate market did as badly in 2009 as he predicted it would at the beginning of the year (did it?  it's not something I follow), but I think he's dead on about near-term social and economic trends for the U.S.

He's on Alex Jones' daily radio show pretty often and he's in a couple of AJ's documentaries. He's in Fall of the Republic, which MV911T is going to show in Concord in January 19th (every 3rd Tuesday at Liberty Books).
